One huge palace after another, imposing architectural ensembles and austere granite embankments bear testimony to the magnificent royal past of the city.

  • Departure by Sibelius train 2nd class from Helsinki at 7.23, arrival to St. Petersburg at 14.15
  • After arriving to St. Petersburg programme starts with guided visit at Hermitage Art Museum, 3 hours
  • Accommodating in Hotel DOSTOEVSKY ***+
  • Located at some five minutes´ walking distance from Nevsky Prospekt in the historical centre of St. Petersburg, in a trade and hotel complex called Vladimirsky Passage, which also accommodates several restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The building dates back to 1837 and was opened renovated in the end of 2003.
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Sunday, September 19th, 2010
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • In the morning continue to guided city tour including visit at Peter and Paul Fortress.
  • Lunch served at local restaurant. After lunch transfer to railway station.
  • Departure by Sibelius train in 2nd class at 16.30, arrival to Helsinki at 21.48.
