Abstract Guidelines
Abstracts must be in English, no more than 300 words (less than one typed page) and must include the following:
- Author Name/ Co-Author Name
- Personal Biography (125 words or less)
To be considered, presentation proposals (abstracts) should contain applicable and relevant information about business or technical innovations and advancements, research methodology with demonstrative importance to the adhesive and sealant industry.
Antitrust Guidelines
When drafting and making your presentation for a FEICA event, it is very important that you comply with the European Competition Law.
Non-Commercialization
When drafting a presentation for a FEICA event, it is very important that you comply with the European Competition Law presentations and strictly adhere to the Non-Commercialization and antitrust policies. The following are the guidelines that FEICA expects to be followed for your presentation:
PowerPoint Presentation:
A PowerPoint Presentation template will be sent to speakers. Limit non-essential reference to your company name, logo and product(s) trade name(s) in your presentation (this includes slides, videos, etc.). For any comparative data used in the paper and/or presentation, refer to competitive products by their generic name only. If a presentation is deemed too commercial, it will be withdrawn from the program.
Commercialism:
- All presentations must avoid commercialism, promotion, and advertising. This specifically includes pervasive or inappropriate use of company logos.
- Presentations that are simply descriptions of company products will not be allowed.
- Advertising of any kind may not be distributed, nor may any material be displayed that directly promotes the commercial interests of the authors or any particular company or enterprise (unless as authorized by FEICA).

A Technical Committee will review your abstract and we will inform you concerning the selected abstracts by
May13th, 2011.
The criteria that we take into consideration for papers selection are as follows:
- Novel and Innovative for the Adhesive & Sealant Industry
- Interesting and Applicable to the Adhesive & Sealant Industry
- Complying with the Conference Theme
