Andreas Hartwig is polymer chemist and works since 1992 in the field of adhesives chemistry at Fraunhofer IFAM in Bremen, Germany. He is Deputy Director of Fraunhofer IFAM and Head of the Department “Adhesives and Polymer Chemistry”. In addition, he is Professor for polymer chemistry at University of Bremen. His research fields include the formulation of special adhesives, development of new concepts in adhesives chemistry, new raw materials, quick curing, renewable raw materials including utilization of carbon dioxide, debonding on demand and all aspects in the chemistry and technology of reactive polymers bringing ecology and economy together.
