After graduating as a chemical engineer at the German University of Applied Sciences Münster, Thorsten Bauer worked for 10 years in the development and application engineering of sealants and adhesives. He joined TotalEnergies 15 years ago, where he worked on the development of solvents and plasticizers in the various adhesive and sealant systems. In 2015, he became Technical Product Manager for the TotalEnergies Fluids division in Germany. Since 2022, Thorsten is in charge of Hydrocarbon solvents and plasticizers for sealant and adhesive applications as Global Technical and Market Manager.
