The rising demand for sustainable adhesives can be met by utilizing bio-based ingredients.To what extend the bio-based content can be maximized, depends very much on the adhesive performance of the singular ingredients. We will share a vision, and actual developments, on how to formulate high performance adhesives with bio-based tackifiers, and polymers made with ISCC certified mass balanced circular material. We will discuss how high performance adhesives can be formulated meeting the industry’s need for a reduced carbon footprint without compromising on product quality and performance.
