Ines Pietsch studied chemistry in Clausthal, Aberdeen and Karlsruhe. She joined BASF SE in 2001 working in polymer research, being responsible for polymer dispersions used in cementitious systems and construction materials. In 2005 she moved to the product development for adhesives. She was working for different market segments dealing with water-based acrylate dispersions and polyurethane dispersions. Since 2021 she is responsible for the product development of water-based adhesives for flexible packaging.
