Julia Uth studied Engineering with focus on Rubber and Plastic Processing at University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (Germany). After completing her degree in 2021 Julia joined UTH GmbH as the Head of Design and R&D at UTH GmbH (Germany), a company which is highly specialised in gear pump technology and fine mesh straining applications and which can be seen as a fine example of innovative technology “made in Germany”. As an engineer, specialized in rubber and plastic processing, Julia is highly committed to the development of cutting-edge solutions for the processing of rubber and silicone. Her enthusiasm for that field is shown in various of projects e.g. in a study in which she is testing the influences of fine mesh straining on the physical an rheological properties of rubber compounds.
