As brand owners and supply chains strive to meet the challenge of providing sustainable adhesive solutions, the novel polycaprolactone polyol technology enables formulators to provide a balance of sustainability and performance. This technology combines the excellent performance of polycaprolactone with an enhanced biodegradable nature and renewable content. The combination of its liquid state and low viscosity at a relatively high molecular weight allows for the new technology to be utilized by 2K PU solventless adhesive formulators. Innovative 1&2K and hotmelt PU adhesive formulators can add value to the supply chain by harnessing the biodegradable characteristics of the product.
