Hauschild presents its bladeless mixing technology, which is mainly used for R&D, formulation, and QA/QC purposes. The Hauschild SpeedMixer® product line can be divided in three major groups, depending on the maximum nominal gross weight a machine can mix: small, medium, and large machines. Small and medium equipment are generally better suited for laboratory work, large equipment can also be utilized in a production setting where the batch size is up to 10kg.
Mixing is taking place bladeless by using centrifugal forces that work in a rotation/counter-rotation. This technology requires no further cleaning, thus saving time and money.
The Hauschild SpeedMixer® can be used to mix different fluids and pastes, pastes with powders, powders with powders and other fluids/powders combinations, also materials with different chemical and physical properties can be mixed.
The mixer is used in every industry and field where mixing is an essential part of the development or production process. The mixing of adhesives and sealants requires precision and repeatability. Multi-component reactive systems with various viscosity resins and cutting-edge additives are used across aerospace, industrial, medical, manufacturing, electronic, semiconductor, automotive industries. Furthermore, the company supplies machines individually tailored to customer requirements, which convince through high quality.
JHT stands for future-oriented plant solutions and focusses on the integration of new technologies in terms of Industry 4.0. Innovation is not limited to machines and components. It’s integrated throughout – from development and production to plant solutions and after-sales.
One example is the additively manufactured vacuum roller “VacuFL3X”. The stainless-steel roller features an optimized double-shell-concept for temperature control of the web and symmetrically interconnected vacuum-zones. Their separate control enables energy-efficient operation with different web-widths. The sealing can be replaced toolless and allows a flexible wrap angle.
Another example is the FIPAGO-Tester: within its modernization, it was equipped with a high-precision incremental-encoder and a PLC to precisely evaluate the adhesive strength of tapes. The PLC controls the process automatically and ensures reproducibility and comparability of the results. Testing a variety of adhesive tapes on paper, foil, metal or glass and ensuring quality – we would be pleased to present the FIPAGO tester at our table.

Nynas process oils are available in many different applications. Areas of application include plasticizers in polymer-based formulations, rheology modifier in printing inks and silicone sealants and carrier oil in antifoam. The relatively high polarity and high density of the oils also help to create more stable emulsions than with paraffinic counterparts. Poly-clip System is the world leader in sustainable clipping solutions and stands for excellence in clipping as well as maximum efficiency. The product and service system includes a large number of innovative solutions for clipping machines, packaging machines and automation thereof, as well as matching consumables such as the clip. Efficient packaging of pasty material in tube-shaped bags is coupled with cost savings and a high sustainability due to the flat roll stock film that leads to comparably low transportation and disposal volumes. All liquid, pasty and highly viscous products (sealants, adhesives, etc.) can be packed as clip-pak® via a pumping system and an automatic clipping machine. clip-pak® is a tubular bag packaging which is closed at both ends with a high-quality aluminium clip. Inexpensive flat roll stock film is formed into a ready-to-fill film tube, filled and securely closed with the double clipping process in the integrated clip unit – free of air. In addition, the product shelf life can frequently be extended considerably. For specific products it can even be doubled. Longer shelf lives lead to less dried-out products and less contaminated waste volumes.

Commissioned in 1993, Shell MDS Malaysia is the world’s very first, one-of-its kind commercial GTL plant. Backed by 20 years of research, Shell pioneered the GTL plant’s technology that saw it convert liquefied natural gas (LNG) to ultra-pure liquid fuels, chemicals and solid waxes, which are virtually free from sulphur and aromatics, and highly biodegradable.
The wax produced at Shell MDS Malaysia – SARAWAX, named in honour of the state it is produced in, is an important component utilised in various industries including the manufacturing of everyday products such as hot melt adhesives, PVC lubricants, printing inks, rubber and tyre to candles, personal care and packaging material. The unique opaque white appearance of Shell GTL waxes produces true colour brilliance with minimum colouring agents, whilst the high purity and consistent properties are ideal for automated and precision industrial applications.
Specifically, in hot melt adhesives application, Shell GTL Sarawax:
1) Reduces viscosity to ensure efficient mixing
2) Regulates open and set times
3) Reduces surface tackiness for better transport and storage stability. Today, Shell MDS Malaysia boasts an output capacity of 500,000 tonnes of GTL Products per annum and exports its products to over 50 countries internationally.
