Presentation Abstract

New Multi-Functional Silane Technology for Hybrid Adhesives and Sealants

The moisture curable silane terminated polymers (hybrid resins) offer an attractive regulatory profile because of their low toxicity, but they also present formulators with remarkable flexibility to fit specific industry adhesive properties. However, additives should also contribute to make hybrid adhesives and sealants more sustainable.

This presentation focuses on the recent development of a new multi-functional silane and its properties, highlighting the reduction of the environmental impact and beneficial attributes for the formulators and end users.
