Dipl-Ing FH Nicole Neub
Sales Manager Efficiency Solutions
Bosch Sicherheitstechnik GmbH
Biography
Nicole Neub successfully graduated as technical engineer (Diplom-Ingenieur) in 2004 from the University of Applied Sciences in Reutlingen. She then started her career at an automotive supplier in Germany. In 2007 she took over the responsibility for chemical processes such as adhesives and sealant production within a special purpose machinery manufacturer for continuous production methods. Followed by continuous production solutions for pharmaceutical and Li-Ion Battery customers she continued her career 2020 at BOSCH and is in charge of the realization of energy efficiency solutions.
By representing a group of experienced engineers, she is proud to be part of the BOSCH Net Zero Story and passionate in energy efficiency and the successful implementation.
Presentation Abstract
Energy efficiency – the technical answer to ecological and commercial questions
The production of adhesives and sealants faces a multitude of new requirements and challenges. Rising energy costs, raw material shortages, the essential avoidance of fossil fuels and steadily growing customer demands for CO2-optimized products in Scope 3 are challenges that must be actively addressed.
Energy efficiency is one of the technical answers to this ecological and commercial questions.
Future industrial energy concepts need to connect different parts of an industrial site to reduce energy dissipation and optimize CO2 neutrality of the product. While production and infrastructure traditionally operate largely independent from each other, CO2-neutral energy concepts must link generation, distribution, and consumption. E.g. energy that accumulates as unwanted waste heat in the production process can be reused as a valuable heat source to supply the plant using heat pumps and does not need to be released into the environment at the expense of cooling capacity any more. This is just one of our successful realized customer projects we want to present. New paths to improve ecological and economical production and the successful implementation in existing facilities is our experience and passion.
Of course, such concepts involve an increasing degree of complexity in energy monitoring and in-depth data analysis as well. Transparency throughout all energy streams, Industry 4.0 and IoT-Solutions play a decisive role in this process. The aim is to identify and adjust inefficient steps, save operating costs and reduce the carbon footprint.
Net Zero is not just a word – in can be your global competitive factor.
