Presentation Abstract

An innovative ultra-fine precipitated calcium carbonate (UFPCC) as rheology booster for reactive adhesives and sealants

Adhesives and Sealants require a specific rheological profile in order to control properties such as extrudability, workability, as well as sagging and slump behaviour. This presentation demonstrates the exceptional performance achieved through use of Viscoexcel 30 SG, a 30 nanometre grade, compared with standard UFPCCs and other rheological modifying additives, while enabling more efficient production processes.

Viscoexcel 30 SG is manufactured by Shiraishi-Omya GmbH in Austria, and available throughout Europe.
