2019 Rawert Katharina bio
Katharina Rawert studied Chemical Engineering at the FH Niederrhein and obtained her Master’s Degree in Colour and Pain Engineering with specialisation in polyester-based systems. During her studies, she gained extensive experience in various companies such as Scania AB in Sweden and the university of Sao Paulo. She joined Evonik Industries in 2015 as Manager for Applied Technology with the focus on amorphous‐poly‐a‐olefins in adhesive applications. Currently, Katharina Rawert is working on key projects concerning the foaming and hygiene market with various application technologies.
2018 Weerdmeester Ron bio
Ron Weerdmeester is a law graduate of the University of Groningen and also holds a Degree in “Information Systems in Organisations” from Boston University. Ron is a PNO Innovation board member and PNO Consultants’ European Innovation Manager. He is project manager of various economic and technological intelligence activities assisting industries in their innovation needs. Apart from 25 years of experience in funding (from FP4 to HORIZON 2020) and excellent technology development projects with a European dimension, Ron has expertise in innovation strategy, intelligence and innovation funding for industry, academia and public organisations. His track record comprises the development of over 100 successful EU projects. Ron regularly gives training to SMEs, multinationals and research organisations on topics of European research and innovation policies, open-innovation project building, project management in networks, technology transfer and development of European partnerships.
